Sending from your own domain
Making shop emails come from your domain instead of the platform address — and connecting a mailbox.

Once a custom domain is connected and live, an Email sending section appears below the domain settings.
It lets your shop send its order and shipping confirmations, review requests and owner notifications from your own domain instead of the shared platform address.
The subdomain it uses
Activation sets this up on mail.<your-domain>, so the sender address becomes
shop@mail.<your-domain>.
The subdomain is deliberate: it can never conflict with an existing mailbox provider on the domain itself.
Setting it up
Add the DNS records
A short list, at your DNS provider. The section shows each record's found/missing state live and re-checks automatically.
Wait for verification
Once verified, all shop emails switch over on their own. Nothing else to press.
Until verification succeeds — and whenever it breaks later — emails keep going out from the platform address. Email never stops working.
Customer replies always go to your shop's contact email either way.
Domains bought through the platform
For a domain whose DNS zone the platform hosts, activation is one click — the records are written automatically.
An additional Connect your mailbox section then appears. It writes the DNS records for Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace — MX, SPF, verification code, autodiscover — so you can also receive email on your domain.
The platform never hosts mailboxes and never stores mail credentials. It only writes the DNS records, and disconnecting removes exactly the records it created.
Where to see which address is in use
The top of Settings → Notifications states which address your shop's emails are sent from, and where customer replies land, with a link back to the domain settings.
