Customers
The list, what "total spent" actually counts, and the marketing consent badge worth checking.
Esta página aún no está traducida. Se muestra en inglés; todo lo que describe funciona igual en tu idioma.
Customers in the sidebar lists everyone who ordered from your shop, opened a customer account there or took out a subscription, one row per email address. The Overview shows the newest of them.
The list
The customer name links to their detail page; the email column is a mailto:
link.
| Column | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Customer since | When the customer first appeared: their first order, their confirmed customer account or their first subscription, whichever came first. Sort by it to see your newest or longest-standing customers |
| Active subscriptions | Subscriptions currently active or in trial |
| Total spent | Paid orders net of refunds plus what their subscriptions have collected since they started (every paid payment, read live from Stripe) minus the credit notes issued on them |
The subscription share is shown in small print under the figure. Both columns sort, the revenue tiles and the VIP threshold use the combined figure, and the CSV export carries Active Subscriptions and Of Which Subscriptions columns.
Carts and wishlists at a glance
Small icons next to the name show live saved-items state:
- a cart icon when the customer currently has items in their saved cart
- a heart when they have wishlist entries
Account holders only — guests are anonymous.
A filter dropdown narrows the list to customers with a cart or with a wishlist, and the CSV export respects it. That is how you export everyone with a wishlist.
The detail page
Everything about one customer in one place:
- stats and orders over time
- their subscriptions (numbers linked to the subscription, products to the product)
- their orders
- their contact requests
- their newsletter status
- their current saved cart — items with quantity, price and total, plus when it last changed — and their wishlist; both only exist for customers with an account, and for guests the cards say so
- their product reviews (stars, product, title and text, hidden ones marked) — this block is shown even while empty
Orders, contact requests and reviews start with the newest 50 and grow by a button under the list; the count beside the orders and the contact requests says how many of the total are on screen.
Checkouts the customer abandoned at the payment step (payment status "Cancelled") are left out of the detail page: not in its orders, not in the order count, the first and newest order or the chart. The Orders column of the list counts the same way. You still find them in the Orders list by ticking "Cancelled" in the payment filter.
Total revenue there counts paid orders net of refunds plus every paid subscription payment minus the credit notes issued on them, with the subscription share called out beneath the figure. The average per order is over the paid orders.
The marketing consent badge
A badge in the page header shows whether the customer has allowed marketing emails — green with the date of consent, or not. Check it before sending promotional mail.
Order and shipping emails are transactional and unaffected.
The opt-in is also a newsletter subscription — see Newsletter subscribers.
Customers vs. guests
Customers can buy without an account. Guests get the same emails and invoices, but no account page and nothing that follows them to a second device: their cart and their wishlist hang on a random token in their browser, are kept for 90 days, and the cart is merged into the account if they sign up later.
That token is not a person, so a guest's saved items cannot be shown against anybody here — the two cards on a detail page stay empty and say so. The Analytics totals count them all the same, guests apart from account holders.
Subscription products always need an account.
