Analytics
Page views, sessions and sales — plus live carts and wishlists — and why there is no cookie banner.
Esta página aún no está traducida. Se muestra en inglés; todo lo que describe funciona igual en tu idioma.
Analytics in the sidebar shows page views, sessions and sales.
Analytics is part of Pro. On Free the page shows an upgrade notice instead — visits are counted on every plan, so the history is there as soon as you upgrade.
It is cookieless
No analytics data is stored on visitors' devices, so no cookie-consent banner is needed for it.
You should still mention this analytics in your privacy and cookie policy — and the AI legal-text generator includes it automatically.
This applies to the built-in analytics alone. A shop that additionally enables marketing tracking does show a consent banner, and its legal texts have to cover that tracking too.
Revenue is net of refunds
A credit note over an order counts as negative revenue on the day it was issued, and the revenue tile notes "After X in credit notes" when there were any.
Live carts and wishlists
A section of its own, showing current state independent of the selected date range:
- how many saved carts and wishlists exist right now, split into customers with an account and guests
- the items and total value sitting in carts
- the top products in carts and on wishlists
It reads from the same saved carts and wishlists the storefront uses. Abandoned guest carts drop out of these numbers after 90 days of inactivity; customers' carts after 180.
The two tables
Under the charts sit two tables for the selected period, both sortable by clicking a column heading and both with a CSV export button:
- Timeline — one row per day: Sessions, Pageviews, Product Views, Add to Cart, Checkout (checkouts started), Checkout Submit (orders placed), Orders and Revenue.
- Top products (by views) — one row per product: Views, Unique Sessions and Add to Cart, each product linked to its editor.
The period filter
Three groups:
Relative to today
Last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, this quarter.
A year dropdown
From 2026 up to the current year — so it grows by one entry every January — holding the whole year and its quarters Q1 to Q4.
Picking a year moves the selected quarter into it, or shows that whole year. A quarter of the running year that has not started yet is greyed out, and the running year and quarter stop at today.
A custom range
Two date fields appear beside its own chip.
On a phone the choices sit behind one button showing the current period.
