10mShop Documentation
Everything you can do with your shop — from the first product to your own domain, explained step by step.
Esta página aún no está traducida. Se muestra en inglés; todo lo que describe funciona igual en tu idioma.
This is the handbook for shop owners. It explains every screen in the dashboard, what each setting does, and the rules the shop follows when you are not looking — how stock is reserved, when an invoice is issued, why a shop stays offline until its legal texts are filled in.
If you are in a hurry: a shop takes about ten minutes to build and a little longer to get right.

How 10mShop fits together
Four things make up a shop, and they are deliberately independent of each other:
Your products
Everything you sell lives under Products. A product has a price, stock, a picture and — if you want — variants with their own price and stock. Products exist whether or not the shop is online.
Your design
The designer arranges blocks into pages. It edits a draft; your live shop only changes when you press Publish. That means you can rebuild your landing page in the middle of a working day without visitors noticing.
Your settings
Settings holds the things that are true about your business rather than about one product: company address, legal texts, shipping countries, payment methods, language and currency. Several of them decide whether the shop may go online at all.
Your Stripe account
Money never passes through 10mShop. Payments go to your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays you out directly. 10mShop takes no cut of your sales on any plan.
Before customers can buy
A published shop is not automatically a reachable shop. Visitors get a 404 until both of these are true:
- At least one payment method is switched on (Settings → Payment Methods), and your Stripe account can accept charges.
- All five legal texts are filled in (Settings → Legal & Compliance):
terms, privacy, imprint, cookie policy and the right of withdrawal. A text
that still contains a placeholder like
[PLACEHOLDER]counts as missing.
Your own preview keeps working the whole time, so you can finish the shop before anybody else can see it. The Overview page tells you exactly what is still missing — see Going live.
Conventions in this handbook
- Screen names are written the way the dashboard writes them: Orders, Settings → Legal & Compliance, the Publish button.
- Your dashboard may be in German, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian. Two things stay as they are in every language: the style options in the block editor, and the payment brands Stripe names itself — TWINT, PayPal, Klarna. Everything else, Invoice and Cash included, is translated.
- Pages marked Pro plan describe features the Free plan does not include.
