Products
How the product list works, what the switches do, and why deleting is sometimes archiving.

Products in the sidebar holds everything you sell. A product has a name, a description, images, and at least one variant carrying the price and stock.
The list
Filtered by category and status — both checkbox dropdowns. The status boxes are:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Published and in stock. |
| Out of Stock | Tracked stock has reached zero. |
| Low Stock | At or below the low-stock threshold. |
| Sold | A one-of-a-kind piece that has been sold. |
| Draft | Not published. |
| Inactive | Switched off. |
The switches
Two controls in the list apply immediately, with no save step — you can switch many rows in a row without waiting:
- the Published switch
- the Featured star (column "Feat.")
Column widths
Drag the borders between the column headings; widths are remembered per shop and per browser. Double-click a border to reset that column.
Deleting is archiving once something has been sold
A product that appears in existing orders is archived, not deleted. It disappears from the storefront and from the product list, and comes back with Show archived → Restore.
The same applies one level down: removing a variant that appears in orders or in a running subscription archives that variant, leaving the product itself on sale. Archived variants are restored from the variant tabs inside the product.
The default variant cannot be archived, because the storefront shows a product through it. Make another variant the default first.
A product with running subscriptions cannot be deleted at all — the delete is refused with a note saying how many are running. Switch Published off instead so it becomes a Draft: it leaves your shop, and the subscriptions keep running.
