Blog

News, guides and stories for your shop — written in the dashboard, shown in your shop's design.

Esta página ainda não está traduzida. É apresentada em inglês; tudo o que descreve funciona da mesma forma no seu idioma.

Blog in the sidebar, right below Products, is where you write posts: news, guides, a look behind the scenes. Each post appears in your shop at /blog, and every post has a page of its own at /blog/<address>.

The blog is separate from the design on purpose. You shape its pages once in the designer; after that, writing a post never touches the design.

Write a post

Start a post

Click New post. The editor opens with an empty draft.

Title, introduction and cover

Write the title at the top and a short introduction below it — the introduction is shown on the post cards and under the title. Add a cover with Upload image, or with From library — your uploads, your product pictures, and free photos and videos to search. A video plays silently in a loop wherever the cover is shown.

The text

The text is made of sections. Add one with Add section, or with the small + between two sections:

SectionWhat it is
ParagraphBody text
SubheadingA heading inside the post, H2 or H3
Image or videoA picture or a video with its description and an optional caption
QuoteA quote and who said it
ListOne item per line, optionally numbered
ProductA live product card with price and cart button
ButtonA button to a page of your shop or to another website

Inside a paragraph, **bold**, *italic* and [link text](https://…) work.

Publish

Click Publish. The post is online at once.

A draft saves itself while you type. A published post keeps your changes until you click Save changes, so no half-finished sentence goes live on its own.

Write with AI

Write with AI — in the list and in the editor — asks for a topic, the kind of post, its length and, if you like, the facts the AI may use. It writes a whole draft in your shop's language: title, introduction, text, category, tags and the search-engine fields. Nothing is published; click Write draft and read it through first. A draft costs 2 AI credits and replaces the text the post had.

The draft comes with pictures: a cover photo from a free stock photo library (Unsplash, or Pexels when Unsplash has none), unless the post already has a cover, and it fills in the shop’s name as author when none is set. Ask for pictures in the topic or the facts — “with a few pictures” — and it puts matching photos into the text as well, up to six. They are ordinary image sections: swap or delete any of them before you publish.

The AI invents no prices, dates or names. Where it needs one, it writes a placeholder in square brackets, such as [opening date] — and Publish asks before a post that still has one goes out.

  • The sparkle icon on a paragraph, quote or list rewrites that section: Improve, Shorten, Expand or Simplify.
  • Generate with AI under the cover makes a cover picture from the title. The same button under an image section makes a picture from what you wrote in What the image or video shows or the caption — describe it first. Like every picture the AI makes, it carries the “AI-generated” label in your shop.

Preview, schedule, take offline

  • Preview opens the post in your shop, drafts included.
  • The Date in the right column decides when a post is out. Leave it empty and the post takes the day you publish it; a later day schedules it, and the list shows it as Scheduled until then.
  • Feature at the top puts a post first in the overview.
  • Unpublish turns a post back into a draft; it disappears from the shop.
  • Delete post removes it for good.

The address of a post follows its title until it is first published. After that it stays, because links to it are out — you can still change it by hand under Search engines, where the SEO title and description are as well.

Categories and page views

Give a post a category in the right column of the editor, and the list can filter by it: the Category filter has a box for every category and one for No category. A category you use for the first time is ticked on its own.

Every published post shows its page views in the list — how often the post's page was opened in your shop. They are counted by the post's address, so a post whose address you change starts again from zero, and your own looks at it in the designer do not count.

Your blog in the shop

The blog is reachable once the first post is published. Until you design it, it uses a plain layout with your header and footer.

To give it your own look, click Set up blog pages. That adds two pages to your design draft — Blog and Blog post — with your header and footer and a Blog link in the navigation. Tick Also show the newest posts on the home page to put a teaser on the home page as well. Publish the design and shape both pages in the designer like any other page.

The dialog offers three looks to start from — Card grid, Magazine and List. Each is only a starting point: every block can be swapped for another variant in the designer.

Four blocks belong to the blog:

BlockWhereVariants
Blog OverviewThe Blog page: the posts, newest firstcard grid, magazine, list
Blog Post HeaderThe Blog post page: title, date, reading time, coverquiet, full cover, split
Blog Post TextThe Blog post page: the text of the postone
Blog TeaserAny page: the newest posts and a link to the blogcards, one post large, headlines

The Blog Teaser shows nothing while no post is published, and it works at half width, beside a newsletter or call-to-action block.

In the shop, the Blog Overview shows your categories as chips above the posts, "All posts" first, as soon as your published posts use two or more. A chip filters the overview to that category. The switch Show Category Filter in the block's Style tab turns the chips off.

Designing your shop for the first time? Tick Start with a blog on that screen, and the new design comes with the blog pages and the newest posts on the home page right away — free, as with the button above.

Feed and search engines

Your blog has an RSS feed at /blog/feed.xml, which feed readers and newsletter tools can subscribe to. Every published post is in your shop's sitemap and carries structured data, so search engines read it as an article.

Plans

On Free your shop shows the three newest published posts. The others stay published and appear again with Pro.
