Pages and navigation

Adding custom pages, reordering them, and what happens to every link when a page is renamed or deleted.

The page dropdown at the top-left of the designer switches between pages and opens Manage pages….

Adding a page

Adding a custom page requires a short description. The AI then plans and generates the page's sections — at least four blocks, including a sign-up or contact form when the description asks for one — and adds the page to the shop navigation.

Custom pages appear in the shop navigation automatically. You do not have to add a link anywhere.

Want a blog? Your shop has one built in, see Blog. If the name of a new page sounds like one — Blog, News, Journal, Magazine and the like — while your shop has no blog pages yet, the designer says so, here and in the AI Assistant's new-page scope. Set up blog adds the pages Blog and Blog post to your draft at no cost in credits; No, a normal page hides the note and the page is created as usual.

Managing pages

Manage pages… lets you:

  • rename a page
  • reorder pages by drag and drop — this is the order of your shop's navigation
  • delete a page

This is the part worth reading before deleting anything.

Deleting a page

Every link to it across the whole shop is switched off, and the modal reports how many were affected. A button whose link was switched off is hidden; a card stays visible but stops being clickable.

Renaming a page

Every link to it is repointed. Nothing breaks.

Both are draft-only

The changes live in the designer version. Your live shop follows on the next Publish, so a mistaken deletion never reaches visitors before you do.

The pages every shop has

Besides your custom pages and the landing page:

PageAddressNotes
Products/productsThe catalogue, with category filter and search.
Product detail/product/<slug>The only page that may carry product hero, info, details and reviews blocks.
Cart & checkout/checkoutSee The checkout.
Customer account/accountOrders, subscriptions, profile, wishlist.
Shipping/shippingOnly linked while the shop has shipping countries configured.
Legal/legal/<section>The five texts from Settings → Legal & Compliance.
Contact/contactFeeds Contact requests.
Newsletter unsubscribe/newsletter/unsubscribeWorks even while the shop is offline.

Addresses are shown without the shop slug here. Without a custom domain they sit under /your-shop-slug/…; with a verified domain they are served at the domain root exactly as written above.
