Questions
What visitors ask about your products, how you answer, and when a question shows on the product page.

Questions in the sidebar, right below Reviews, collects what visitors ask about your products in the Product Questions block. You answer there, the asker gets your answer by email, and a question appears on the product page only once you release it.
The block on the product page
Add the Product Questions block to your product page in the designer; the library offers it only there. It comes in two designs:
- Accordion: each question opens to its answer, and "Ask a question" under the list opens the form.
- Two columns with search: the heading, a search over the questions and the form on one side, every answer open on the other. On a phone the columns stack.
The form asks for the question, a name and an email address. The product page shows the asker's first name and the day, never the email address. In the designer's preview the form sends nothing.
In the Style tab, Show Form, Show Author and, in the second design, Show Search switch parts off, and Limit sets how many questions show before "Show more questions". A product without released questions shows the heading and the form; with the form switched off as well, the block is left out of the shop. The AI writes the heading, never a question or an answer.
The list
The newest question comes first. Each card shows the product, the question, the asker's name and email address, and where the question stands:

A search over the question, the answer, the name, the email address and the product; a status filter as a checkbox dropdown, all ticked by default; and a button that resets both. The list shows 25, 50, 100 or 200 questions per page, and the search, the filter and that number are remembered per shop and per browser. There is no export.
New questions also appear on the Overview page, those waiting for an answer first, and are tinted until you open the list.
Answering
Write your answer in the card and press Send answer. The first answer you save goes to the asker by email, once, from your shop's sender and in your shop's language, with the question, the answer and a link to the product. The asker can reply to that email.
Edit answer and Save answer change it later. That only changes what the product page shows: no second email goes out. Should the email not have gone out, the card says so, and saving the answer again tries once more.
Releasing
An answer alone shows nothing. Release puts the question and its answer on the product page, and Take off the page hides it again.
The bin deletes a question after a confirmation. The asker is not told.
Getting told about a new one
New question under Settings → Notifications sends you an email for every new question. It is on until you switch it off.
Visitors can ask only while your shop is online, about a product your shop shows, and only a few times in ten minutes.
